Brandon Westholm, MMT, MT-BC
Brandon is a board-certified music therapist (MT-BC) who graduated from UW-River Falls with bachelor’s degrees in music and psychology. He received his master’s degree in music therapy from Augsburg University in Minneapolis, MN and he completed his internship at the Central Wisconsin Center (CWC) for the developmentally disabled in Madison, WI. Brandon’s primary instruments include voice, saxophone, and guitar. Brandon is the owner and founder of Downbeat Music Therapy Services, LLC. Clinically he is interested in psychotherapy and trauma informed care as his primary lens on the therapeutic process. He also supports the Healing Arts and Wellness Center with mentorship and collaboration as each clinician working in the center continues to develop clinically and professionally.
Areas of clinical experience and interest: mental health disorders, developmental and intellectual disabilities, autism, group work, trauma informed care
